Before founding NCC, Marisa Van Wie managed the prevailing wage requirements that few others at her large contracting firm fully understood — until she became the only one who could. In 2018 she struck out on her own as "Marisa Naylor, Sole Proprietorship" (the origin of the Naylor name), incorporating the following year as her reputation as a rising authority in wage compliance grew. Today, under her leadership as Owner and CEO — alongside COO Brittney Membrey — that solo venture has become a formidable player in an industry of giants.
